FORGIVENESS AND STEWARDSHIP

Ethics case: I submit that Biblical Forgiveness between sheep is not synonymous with restored entrustment of stewardship and responsibilities. One example, you entrust a 16 year old to babysit your 2 year old while you are 2 hours away visiting an ICU patient. You come home and suddenly the 16 year old pulls in behind you, you look to find your child is still in the house alone. The babysitter says, "I was only gone 30 minutes, I wanted to visit a friend to see her new jacket."; Biblical Forgiveness does not mean God requires you to entrust your toddler 7x70 to someone who has been negligent 1x, or 10x, 100x, 490x. But I often here persons mixing the two concepts up, and accusing me of beign unforgiving for not also granting persons previous levels of stewardship/responsibility that they have constantly failed to display. Your thoughts?
